Arsenal dropped Interest In Kevin Volland

Arsenal football club has dropped their interest in Bayer Leverkusen’s Striker Kevin Volland After current boss Mikel Arteta expressed his concern over the striker’s ability and whether he can be successful in the Premier league. Kevin Volland is a prime key transfer target for the former Arsenal boss, Unai Emery. Arsenal definitely doesn’t need a striker until and unless one of either Aubameyang or Lacazatte leave the club. Arteta’s biggest challenge will be resolving futures of their star strikers and a hot prospect in Bukayo Saka, who burst on to the main scene after series of Man of the Match performances.

But Coronavirus pandemic will have a huge effect on expenses for Arsenal according to Raul Sanllehi.

“The reduction in income from playing BCD for the rest of the season will knock £23m from available cash at the end of the season as will the absence of season ticket renewals (£70m)”

Kevin Volland has made 22 Bundesliga appearances in 19/20 season, in which he scored 9 goals and assisted 8. It will be a huge blow for the Bundesliga club, if they lose him, as he’s one of the key member and ocassional captain for the club.
